Holy moly, have I been doing a lot of fun stuff these last two weeks. I apologize in advance for the length of this journal, but I just couldn't keep it short this time. :0

First, went to the scrapyard/surplus place with my Dad again and got a whole bucket of junk and fiddly bits, so I've got a lot to work with for whatever projects I come up with.

Then, on the 4th, ended up going to a demolition derby with my Mom which was awesome! Took a whole bunch of photos and even got some pieces of one of the cars afterwards. C:

And two days ago, and her family invited me to come along to Sixflags with them! :0 Damn, that was fun. The rides were awesome, and it was just nice to do something so different. Lul, the metal detector people just did not know what to do with me at the gate. I swear, when they sorted through all the things I had to take off, one of the ladies picked up my goggles by the strap (imagine watching someone pick up a venomous snake by the tail, and it was just like that XD) and she just stared at them and all the other staff huddled around as they tried to figure out what they were. O__o Then after a few seconds they turned around and declared that they were, in fact, harmless and we were on out way. They got me lots of thumbs-ups and "cool glasses, man!"s from passersby the whole time, which was pretty funny. Dea has decided that I am an "extroverted introvert" due to the fact that I am so painfully shy inside, but apparently exude some kind of intense aura of confidence and awesome that I am completely unaware of that everyone else sees. >__>;
Lul on that note, I had a very interesting encounter with some lady too. XD She asked if she could get a photo with me, and bewildered, I said yes. Then she totally got behind me and started groping me and panting in my ear. I was so caught off guard and just could not take her seriously, I was laughing sooooo hard. Dea got pics too. She thinks that the lady mistook me for one of the staff roaming around in superhero gear, lul it was so weird. Gosh, what lame superhero did she think I was though? XD
Anyway, we went on El Toro, Bizarro, the Log Flume, Scream Machine, and Superman, but I refused to go on Nitro. I seriously did not want to throw up $13 worth of overpriced chinese noodles. XP The coasters were all great, except for Scream Machine. Augh, what a rickety ear-basher...had such a headache after that one. The Superman coaster was the best by far, even though we got stuck after the ride was finished. We were hanging there for 15 minutes while klaxons were going off and the staff was running around reassuring us that it was only a "minor technical difficulty". At least we had some interesting conversations with the other riders while we were hanging. Lul, ankle restraints. XD

So anyway, right now, just got back from a bunch of thrift shops in a last minute search for costume materials. I'm sitting here in a pile of junk, staring at an old leather jacket I just seam-ripped into tiny bits and I have no idea what I'm doing. .__.;
Connecticon is comin' up on the 31st, and I'm scrambling to put together a costume.
If you don't see much of me here for the month, it's probably because I'm working on that...whatever it may be. DX
